The 2010 Summer tennis schedule and corresponding league coordinator is printed below. League coordinators will soon be checking with their regulars for the coming season and looking for new players for their leagues. If
you are interested in joining a league, please contact a
coordinator now as leagues are formed in early and late
May. If youcannot make a regular commitment, put your
name on the substitute list. Leagues are designated as:
(B) Beginner (e.g., USTA rating of 2.5 – 3.0 or no
USTA rating); (I) Intermediate (e.g., USTA rating of
3.0 – 4.0 or 1 year tennis team experience); (B-I)
Beginner/Intermediate, (A) Advanced (e.g., USTA
rating of 4.0 or above), (I-A) Intermediate/Advanced,
(M) Men, (W) Women, (S) Singles, and (D) Doubles.

Tennis Lessons

Children, Junior, and Adult Tennis Lessons
Woodhaven member, Greg Milano, a six-time Greene County
Singles Champion, former Wright State Tennis Team Player
and an experienced instructor for both adults and children
at Woodhaven courts will be available to provide
instruction on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings,
as well as Saturday mornings and afternoons. If you are
interested in individual or group lessons with Greg, call him
at 431-9329.

Tennis Court Keys
Tennis Court keys can be purchased from the Pool Manager. The cost is $2.00 per key.

Tennis Ball Machine
The Tennis Committee would like to remind all members that the ball machine will be available at the pool (when open) and is available for use to those ages 15 and over. Younger players require adult supervision. Ball machine operating instructions are located in the tennis court reservation book.

A Letter from the Board of Trustees about Guest Tennis Players
Please remember that the daily guest fee of $3.00
includes tennis players and limits them to once-a-week privileges. While we understand the need to periodically utilize a substitute player who is not a Woodhaven member, regular weekly league players should only be Woodhaven members. During the normal pool operating hours of 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., all club members, whether visiting the pool or playing tennis, should only enter through the front door and present your membership card. Guest players must register at the front and pay the guest fee. If the office is closed, the league captain should
collect the money and register the guest player’s name with the pool office at their earliest convenience. It is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees to protect the value of your Woodhaven membership and thus we are asking for your help in the enforcement of this policy. Thank you for your cooperation in this manner and please feel free to contact the president at with any concerns.
